With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Neil Jacobs of Baie Verte, Newfoundland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Jacobs and Emma Jacobs; his in-laws, Harvey and Evelyn Wimbleton; his siblings, Tom Jacobs (Ada), Ron Jacobs, Eva Greene (Harry) and Gloria Jacobs; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Wimbleton and Gary Norman.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Robbie (Candace) and Matthew (Janine); his grandchildren, Ava, Clark and Khloe; his siblings, Jenny, Ralph (Cherry), Edgar (Bernadette), Maxine (Klaus), Joan (Jamie) and Neville; his in-laws, Marion, Nina, Vivian (Tom), David (Annette) and Tim; and his pet Koda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (22 Main St, Baie Verte, NL A0K1B0). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Bethany United Church (22 NL-410, Baie Verte, NL A0K1B0).
