He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa; his parents, Leah and Walter; his siblings, Wally, Sam, Jessie and Claude; his daughter-in-law Marion; and his brother-in-law Harry.
He is survived by: his sons, Walter and Adam (Lisa); the parent of his children Kerry Ovens; and his stepson Rob Shelley (Aggy).
