He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick and Leah; and his brother Graham. He is survived by: his wife Maisie Whalen; his children, Pamela, Donna, Shelley (Trevor) and David (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Salem (Kyle), Sarah (Adrian), Matthew (Abagail), Nicholas, Jaden, Joshua (Jillian), Allie and Zoie; his great grandchildren, Isla and Isaac; his brothers, Freddie (Judy) and Glen (Janet); his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Leslie (Marie); his close friend George Storey; and his siblings, Leah and Frederick Whalen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (1118 Torbay Rd, Torbay, NL A1K 1A4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bauline United Church.
