It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alton King (Bauline, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 7, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Alton King to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Chesley King and Meriam King; and his siblings, Pearl, Mary, Ruth, Harold and Spurgeon.

He is survived by : his wife Florence; his sons, John (Carol) and Roger; his great grandchildren, Heidi, Chad Belbin and Jackson Birmingham; his sisters, Fannie Hudson, Eileen Moores and Doris Beachin (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Rita King, Robert Evans, Gren LeGrow (Debbie), Cec LeGrow (Doris), Mel LeGrow (Irene), Dexter LeGrow, Phyllis Thorne (Clayton), Jean Hill (Dave), Viola Mercer (Howard) and Joyce LeGrow. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bauline United Church.
