With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie (Bickford) Parsons (Bauline, Newfoundland), born in Bell Island, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Llew Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Kim Squires (Leonard) and Scott Parsons (Sarah); her grandsons, Tyler, Noah, Kaeden and Elliot; and her brothers, Cliff (Jean) and Charlie. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the New United Church Cemetery.
