Ada I. Matthews Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada I. Matthews (Bay l'Argent, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Matthews; her parents, Richard West and Jemima West; and her parents-in-law, Jeremiah Matthews and Louisa Matthews.

She is survived by: her children, Glenn Matthews (Dorothy) of Bay L'Argent and Holly McCann (Peter Taphouse) of Halifax, NS; her grandchildren, Rex Matthews (Tanya) of Lewisporte, Shawn Matthews (Tammy) of Brooks, AB and Ashley Townsend (Johnathan) of Berwick, NS; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Spencer, Shauna, Sarah, Ryder, Hali and Emma; and her sister Rosalie Davis (Roland) of Corner Brook.

In Ada's memory donations may be made to St. Hilda's Anglican Church, Bay L'Argent or flowers gratefully accepted.
