She was predeceased by : her husband Mason Denty; her parents, Oswald Banfield and Hilda Banfield; and her siblings, Margaret Carter and Sidney Banfield.

She is survived by : her daughters, Debbie Dominaux (Dave Fagan) of Kelligrews, Audrey Pope (Donald) of Mt. Pearl and Lynn Walters (Randy) of Marystown; her grandchildren, Michael Dominaux (Misty) of Kelligrews, Ryan Dominaux (Kayla) of Manuels, Bill Pope (Jesselle) of Alberta, Gregory Pope (Natasha) of St. John's, Derek Walters (Melissa) of Mt. Pearl and Patti-Lynn Walters of Edmonton; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Keira, Mason, Maci, Peyton, Ella, Avery and Everleigh; her sister Audrey Osbourne (Frank); and her close friend John Rideout.

As per COVID 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.

In Ethel's memory donations may be made to St. Hilda's Anglican Church or flowers gratefully accepted.
