He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary House and William House; his parents-in-law, Mary and Sam Pardy; his siblings, Susie Baker, Eileen Anderson (Lew), Nina Farrell (George), Frank House and Henry House (Kay); and his siblings-in-law, George Bennett, James Brown, Onslow Drake, Randell Pardy (Abigail), Cyril Pardy (Lizzie), Sidney Banfield, Mabel Freeborn (Cecil) and Ruby Pike (Frank).
He is survived by: his wife Sheila House; his children, Sam Pardy (Viola) of Bay L'Argent, Ellen Hodder (Reg) and Sandra Adams (Glen) of St. John's; his grandchildren, Richard, Steven, Alyssa (John), Greg (Katie), Jessica (Randy) and Jay (Isabella); his great grandchild Clara; his siblings, Mary Bennett, Eleanor Barnes (Andy), Bessie Brown, Jane Drake, Gord House (Betty), Gerald House (Dana) and Edward House (Phyllis); his siblings-in-law, Joan House, Dulcie Banfield and Ronald Baker; and his nephew Rick Farrell (Donna).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Hilda's Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Hilda's Anglican Cemetery.
In Freeman's memory donations may be made to St. Hilda's Anglican Cemetery Fund.
