He is survived by: his son Mark Banfield of Bay L'Argent; his grandson Oliver Banfield; his siblings, Glenda Banfield of St. John's, Ivy Dolimount (George) of Grand Bank and Alvin Banfield of Bay L'Argent; his brother-in-law Reginald Thornhill of Ontario; April Francis.
