He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Thornhill and Lydia Thornhill; and his siblings, Otto Thornhill, Janet Banfield and Gladys Williams.
He is survived by : his wife Ann; his children, Earl Thornhill (Trudy) of Gander Bay, Judy Baker (George) and Louise Thornhill of Cole Harbour, NS; his grandchildren, Allison, Kathryn, Megan, Amy, Kristen and Tracey; his great grandchildren, Maddison, Sophie and Kathy; his sister Amy Vincent of Marystown; and his close friend Absalom Baker of Bay L'Argent.
Interment will follow at Salem United Church Cemetery, Little Bay East In Lewis' memory, in-lieu of flowers donations may be to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
