He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen; his sons, Allan (Mona) and Denny; his brothers, Ralph (Val), Reg and Carl (Joyce); his grandsons, Carter Robbie Royal, Mason Marsh and Damian Mugford; his siblings-in-law, Bobby (Tina), Doreen, Mary (Paul), Marina (Mike), Ena (Shawn), Gail (Darrin), Sarah (Dave), Sherry (Robert) and Brenda; his close friends, Byron Holmes, Tom Roberts, Fred Baggs and Robert Baggs; his son Cory; his parents, Ward Mercer and Fanny Mercer; his brother Carson (Mary); his parents-in-law, George and Ena Seymour; and his brother-in-law George.
