It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel M. Badcock of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 5, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her daughter Emmie Thompson; her parents, John Squires and Edith Squires; her siblings, Annie Murrin (Sid), Ruby Squires, Dot Badcock (Ches), Silas Squires, Roy Squires and Gideon Squires; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Petten (Vern), Vera Young (Warrick), Minnie Badcock (Arch), Laurie Simms, Reg Mugford and Calvin Bussey.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob (Gloria) and Ron (Denise); her son-in-law Doug Thompson (Rona); her grandchildren, Sandi (Darrell), Robert (Natalie), Tyler (Faith), Ashley (Brandon), Emily (Anthony), Nathan (Courtney), Chelsea and Ronson; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Ross; her sisters, Alice Simms, Vera Youden (Marvin), Fern Mugford, Betty Squires and Louise Squires; and her sister-in-law Betty Bussey.
