It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susannah Mildred Mercer of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her son Keith (Rona); her husband James; her parents, Jacob Smith and Mildred Smith; her siblings, Eugene, Cyril, Kenneth, Jacob, Ernest, Norman and Marion; her siblings-in-law, Mary, Evelyn, Mildred, Thelma, Julia, Bernice and Lloyd; her daughter-in-law Rona; her grandsons, Scott (Nicole) and Kyle; her siblings, Marjorie Smith, Viola Bemister (late Cyril), Muriel Randell (late Sterling) and Winston (June Smith); and her niece Audrey Mercer. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.

During these exceptionally difficult times, we at Slade's Funeral Home are exercising ways to ensure public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.
