Violet M. Yetman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet M. Yetman of Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Violet M. Yetman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Nathan R. Yetman; her daughter Joan Yetman; her granddaughter Brittania Taylor; and her parents, Cyril Seward and Annie Seward.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Yetman (Olive), Rodney Yetman (Debbie), Lynn Keeping (Stan) and Peter Yetman (Sandy); her grandchildren, Joshua Yetman (Mary Gail), Jordan Yetman (Arron), Melanie Tkachuk (Jason), Erin Higdon (Adam), Doug Yetman (Shannon), Adam Keeping, Natalie Keeping, Corey Pilgrim (Jennifer) and Geoff Pilgrim (Lori); her great grandchildren, Jesiah, Tristan, Kayleigh, Easton, Mila, Georgia, Olivia, Simone, Jacob, Oliver and Hudson; her brother Bob Seward (Marion); her siblings-in-law, Bette Seward, Leonard Picco, Rebie Fifield (Gordon), John Yetman (Gwen), Lillian Hause (Bill), Mike Barry and Violet; her grandchildren, Roy, Marg Rees (Hal), Grace Russell (Howard), Gen Yetman (Walt), Major Joan Haggett (Alton), Lena Dawe (Wilf), Edna Picco, Richard Seward and Murry Seward (Jeanette); and her siblings-in-law, Cliff Yetman (Flora), Walt Yetman (Gen), Lewis Yetman (Shirley), Mary Hawe (George), Mil Barry, Bill Yetman (Carol) and Marg Yetman.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Cemetery (131 Neck Rd, Bay Roberts, NL A0A1G0).
