She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fleming and Eleanor Fleming of Bell Island; her parents-in-law, Edward and Eliza Nugent; her sister-in-law Mary Stapleton of Kelligrews; her husband Edward; her children, John (Linda) and Elinor; her grandsons, Adam and Michael Burke; and her siblings, John Fleming (Roxanne) and Catherine.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Anita Nugent and Betty Kieley (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Church (304 A Newfoundland Dr, St. John's, NL A1A3P5). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or a charity of your choice.
