He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hickey and Marion Hickey (Boland); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Hickey (Joanne Gamberg) and Darrin French. He is survived by: his family Keith; his wife Debbie; his sons, Keith Jr. and Bill; his stepchildren, Susan Boone James (Hayward), Brian Martin (Susana), Robert Martin (Pam), Lisa Gear (Lenny) and Laura Pinhorn (Kevin); and his siblings, Marilyn Rees (Philip), Cecilia Tucker (Gary), Anastasia McDonald (Duncan), Cavell Henry (Robert), Alicia Parson (Junior) and Dean. He is also survived by his children, was their children - his 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pendergast Funeral Home. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael's Parish. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
