Sadly, Dorothy Marie (Mews) Jennings (Birchy Bay, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father Augustus Mews (Garland Quinlan). She is survived by : her mother Nora; her children, Barbara (Shane) and Garland (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Charlotte (Jonathan), Carmen and Colton; her husband Lorne; and her brothers, Cyril (Iona), Carl (Verley) and Harrison (Melinda). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Beacon Pentecostal Tabernacle. A burial was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at the Pentecostal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Daffodil Place – a place that became very dear to Dorothy's heart during her cancer journey.
