It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Phyllis Hewitt (Birchy Bay, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 18, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Peckford and Daisy Peckford; her siblings, Glen Peckford and Jean Gregory; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Blake, Bill Freake and Violet Pike.
She is survived by : her husband Jack; her children, Jerry Hewitt (Jackie), Janice Hewitt, Jacqueline Hill (Jeff), Jeffery Hewitt, Joy Tyler (Neil) and Judy Segee (Dave); her grandchildren, Jolene, Chrissy, Chantelle, Justin, Michael, Nathaniel, Jessie, Kristen, Jorden, Aiden, Alexander and Cole; her siblings, Francis Peckford (Betty), Ross Peckford (Isabelle), Scott Peckford, Brian Peckford, Marie Steele (Cyril) and Kaye Peckford; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Blake, Jessie Freake and Edward Pike. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
