She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Wells and Violet Wells; her parents-in-law, Edgar and Alice Layte; her sister Lucy Loder; her brothers-in-law, Archibald Necho, Gideon Edwards, Melvin Loder, Harvey Loder, Obadiah Layte, William Layte and Derrick Park; her niece Marina Stuckey; and her nephews, Wallace Tulk, Bramwell Necho and Danny Layte.

She is survived by : her children, Joyce (Wayne), Eugene (Christine), Kimberley (Glen), Violet, David (Denise) and Melvina (Dean); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Derek), Jeremy, Ashley (Steve), Andrew, Crystal, Katie (Jesse), Joey (Kaitlyn), Viki (Austin), Danita (Bradley), Rebecca (Shawn), Samantha (Tristan), Danielle, Delores and Sabrina (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jessica, Leah, Rosie, Brogan, Grace, Jack, Alina, Tommy, Kinsley, Benjamin and Carson; her siblings, Melvina Necho, Winnifred Hutchings, Verbena Loder, Catherine Wells, Linda Park (Austin), Carol Quinlan (Eugene) and Kelsey Wells; and her sister-in-law Ruth Layte.

Flowers accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund in Birchy Bay.
