She was predeceased by : her husband Desmond Butt. She is survived by : her friend Gloria Newhook; her children, Shawn David Smith (Carol), Brian William Smith (Candeena), Bradley Norman Smith (Rodney) and Melanie Faye (Tony Sheppard); and her granddaughters, Angela Elaine and Emily Elizabeth. She is also survived by sisters, brothers.

Due to the new Covid-19 restrictions visitation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
