He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Collins and Jessie Collins (Penney); his siblings, Malcolm, Donald, Reginald, Frank, Garfield, Isabelle Rowe and Frances Dawe; his parents-in-law, Bertram and Margaret Ball; and his sister-in-law Lynn Anderson (Ball).
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Verna" Collins (Ball); his children, Lloyd Jr. Collins (Ruth), Heather Brown (Nelson) and Tracey Hatcher (Keith); his grandchildren, Jessica Collins (Shannon Williams), Elizabeth Burge (Jason), Hannah Brown, Joel Hatcher and Grace Hatcher; his great grandchild Brynn Burge; and his sister Marjorie Collins. He is also survived by sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (527 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Pentecostal Church (451 Main St, Bishop's Falls, NL A0H1C0).
