He was predeceased by : his parents, Reuben Rose and Lilly-May Rose; and his brothers, Herman, Jack (Eileen) and Lindy.

He is survived by : his wife Marie (Downton) of Bishop's Falls; his niece Amy (Rodney); his sisters, Lily King (late Herb King) and Gladys Bussey (John); and also, Sean (Owen) and Jason (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Following Covid 19 restrictions, visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 5 P. M. at Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop's Falls. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, the funeral service will be by invitation only on Friday at 11 A. M. from The Sacred Heart Church, Bishop's Falls.

Memorial donations may be made to The Lion Max Simms Memorial Camp in Bishop's Falls or the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor.
