She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pelley (Jack) and Beatrice Pelley of Bishop's Falls; her husband Gerald Thompson; her siblings, Jim, John Pelley, Edna, Joan, Myrtle, Jeanette and Patsy; and her grandchildren, Kristian Loveless and Megan Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Jim (Noelle), Wayde (Marlene), Peter (Dana) and Kellie (Todd); her sisters, Carol Hancock (Ford) and Judy Mercer; her grandchildren, Nicole, Natasha, Adam, Jonathon, Leah, Summer, Noah, Lilly, Savannah, Nathan, Erica, Kameron and Racheal; and her close friends, Sharon McIssac, Rosemary Kallesen, Terry Chaffey, Jean Outhouse, Beverly Mercer, Wayne Myrick, Brady Anstey and Linda Robinson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
