It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Fern Eddy (Bishops Falls, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband William Eddy; her parents, Aaron Francis and Pamela Francis; her siblings, Nita Blake and Carmen Francis; and her daughter-in-law Jackie.

She is survived by : her sons, Wilmore Eddy (Margaret) and Leslie Eddy (Debbie); her grandchildren, Bradley Eddy, Susan Sheerr (Edward) and Michelle Eddy (Sandy); her great grandchildren, Emily and Allison Sheerr; and her brother-in-law George Eddy (Katherine). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

“I have many special childhood memories of visiting Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bill in New Chelsea. They were always very welcoming and kind. Aunt Shirley had the most beautiful smile and soft way about her. I know mom (Eileen) will miss her phone calls with her to catch up. She will surely be missed.
