He was predeceased by: his parents, Egdar Sheppard and Elizabeth Sheppard; his sister Cora Ward; his parents-in-law, Claude and Winnifred Horwood; and his brother-in-law Donald Stuckless.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Horwood; his daughters, Sherry Thompson (Dean) and Susan Markin (Sheldon); his brothers, Carl Sheppard (Patsy) and Ron Sheppard (Joy); his siblings-in-law, Betty Stuckless and Murlin Ward; his grandchildren, Tiffany Diamond (Andrew) and Cassidy Thompson; his great grandchildren, Grace, Winona, Gwen and John; and his friend Glenda Goulding. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
