She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Stone; her parents, Phineas Boone and Mary Jane Boone (Turner) of Botwood; and her siblings, Edna, Frances, Dorcas, Florence, Harold and Stephen.
She is survived by: her sister Andrea Hillier of Grand Falls; her sister-in-law Ada Boone of Labrador City; and her close friend Alma Critchley (Albert Ndandu). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Water St, Botwood, NL A0H1E0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Church (17 Church Rd, Botwood, NL A0H1E0).
