She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Steele and Stella Steele; her parents-in-law, Dorman and Verna Butt; her sister Sheila Mullowney; her brother-in-law Ronald Mullowney; and her nephew Jeffrey Ross.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis Butt; her daughter Krista Keough; her son-in-law Nicholas Keough; her grandson Boy; her siblings, Shirley Steele, Cathy Purchase (Frank) and Barry; her sister-in-law Debbie Butt; and her siblings' children, Craig, Kevin Purchase, Stephen, Darrell, Michael Mullowney, Travis Butt, Jennifer Nicholson and Raelene Butt. She is also survived by other family members and friends.

Donations to the Cancer Care Foundation, which supports cancer care across Newfoundland and Labrador, would be greatly appreciated.
