Eric left this world on October 14, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Stride and Daisy Stride; and his siblings, Ray, Eddie Stride and Bernice Compton.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his sons, Eric Stride (Deanna) and Mike Stride (Tammy); his siblings, Patsy Budgell, Barb Budgell, Daphne Perry and Freeman Stride; his grandchildren, Brook, Tyson, Brianna and Carter; his great grandchild Trevor; his grandson Brady Fitzgerald; his nephew Dean Perry; his brother-in-law Roy Budgell; and his close friend Cyril Baker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Living Faith Pentecostal Church. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
