Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maurice Christopher Moore of Botwood, Newfoundland, born in Avondale, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 75, on May 22, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moore and Constance Moore; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Heather (Vinnie), Christopher (Cynthia) and Sarah; his grandchildren, John, Scarlett, Emilia, Hunter, Josh and Kenna; and his siblings, Laura, Rose (late Rob), Martina (John), Connie (Bill) and Jim (Roberta). He is also survived by extended family, including Rose's siblings, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hoskins Funeral Home (271 Water St, Botwood, NL A0H1E0). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to his grandchildren's Education fund.
