It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Theresa Yates (Botwood, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Smith and Kathleen Smith; and her siblings, Kitchener and Norma Woodside. She is survived by : her husband Beaton; her children, Wayne (Tari), Kathy Sceviour (Ross) and Jim (Carol-Ann); her grandchildren, Heather (Scott), Tiffany (Brock), Kenneth (Amber), Natasha (Scott), Kyle and Tyler; and her great grandchildren, Stella, Beckett, Jude, Kennji and Ryden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There will be no public visitation, or funeral service at this time because of Covid-19.
