He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Hancock and Mable Hancock; his brother William Gary; his nephew Bradley Cooke; and his parents-in-law, Douglas and Audrey Jewer.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna "Gail"; his sons, Gregory (Natasha) and Jeremy (Jennifer); his sisters, Louise (Wally), Rosalind (John), Elizabeth (Peter), Serena (Dave) and Janice (Mike); his grandson Jackson; and his great grandchild Johanna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Botwood Boys & Girls Club or the William Douglas Jewer Memorial scholarship fund at Botwood Collegiate.
