He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mills and Dorothy Mills; his wife Violet; his parents-in-law, Bert and Louisa Edison; his siblings, Joan Healey, Fred, Gord and Garfield Mills; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Hancock, Dave Cooke, Norman Healey Sr., Bruce Nicolle, Eddie Edison, Bob Edison, Douglas Edison, Bert Edison, Ron Sharron, Mary Mills and Ruby Sharron.

He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Jennifer) and Trevor (Trista); his grandchildren, Julia and Jacob; his siblings, Marilyn, Gladys, Roxanne (Darren), Andrew (Helen), Terry (Serena), Ed (Cindy), Wayne (Paula), Dennis (Debbie), Bob (Joanne) and Paul (Brenda); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Roberts (John), Marion Russell (Ches), Vieva Edison, Hazel Edison and Mary Edison.
