She was predeceased by: her husband Gregory Matthews; her children, Donald Matthews, Michelle and Mary Matthews; her parents, James Sullivan and Catherine Sullivan; and her siblings, Ronald Sullivan (Elizabeth), Jeremiah Sullivan (Margaret), Elizabeth Sullivan and Johnny Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie (Kevin), Gerard (Violet), Philomena (Dave), Alicia (Johno), Rosalind (James), Diane (Barry), Paul (Cheryl), Dave (Betty), Sheila (Sean), Glenda (Eric) and Angie (Greg); and her grandchildren, Michelle, Sarah, Laura, Jessica, Amanda, Melissa, Mark, Matthew, Gregory, Julia, Sam, Jordan, Olivia, Sara, David, Hannah and Jackson.
