He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Hayes and Mary Agnes Hayes; his parents-in-law, Francis and Angela Lavigne; his sisters, Mary Holly and Irene Antle; his siblings-in-law, Tom Furey, Lorraine Dinn, Jeanette Mercer and Helen Smith; and his niece Tara Veri.
He is survived by : his wife Marie; his children, Derrick (Debbie Morrissey), Darrin and Korie (Steve Ivey); his grandchildren, Kyle Ivey, Brooklyn Ivey and Nicole Shea (Blake Newman); his siblings, Gerard (Kathy), Rosalita (Len Walsh), Bernadette (Kevin Walsh) and Madonna Furey; his brothers-in-law, Tom Antle and Bill Holly; his friend Tony Bennett; and his pets, Daisy, Sadie and Louie.
