With sadness, we share the passing of Carmelita Ryan of Brigus, Newfoundland. Carmelita, born on February 18, 1977, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Carmelita for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her father Patrick Ryan. She is survived by: her daughter Amber; her mother Genevieve; and her siblings, Connie, Nelson and Stephen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Broughton's Funeral Home (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A1K0). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Broughton's Memorial Chapel (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A1K0). The inurnment was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery (85 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A2Z0).
