Daniel Edward Morrissey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2022, at the age of 74, Daniel Edward Morrissey (Brigus, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Morrissey and Mildred Morrissey of Brigus; his sisters, Colleen Quinlan and Bridget Smallwood; his brother-in-law Reg Smallwood; and his nephews, Johnny, Jason Quinlan and Reggie Smallwood.
He is survived by: his close friend Patricia O'Flaherty; his sons, Chad (Cara) and Danny; his granddaughter Ceili; his brothers, Alonzo (Barbara) of Indianapolis and Indiana; and his friends, Jennie O'Flaherty, Bill Jefferies, Frank, Agnes O'Flaherty, Bernadette, Nick Furey, Jim, Inga Doyle, Jerome, Karen Hurley, Val, Marg Corbett and Clarkes Beach.
In lieu of flowers and in Dan's memory, please support the Alzheimer's Society to aid those patients who are still with us as well as their caregivers and also to ensure those who follow him on this journey may have a fighting chance to become that person who gets to beat this insidious disease. The SPCA is also a cause that was dear to Dan's heart and your donations to the Bay Roberts or St. John's SPCA are welcomed.
