He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Josie (Breen); his wife Joan; and his brothers, Fr Bill, Lawrence, Mike, Phil and James.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary, Hannah and Ellen; his grandsons, Eugene and Silas; his children, Frank (Geraldine), Shawn (Barb), Joanne, Mike (Frances) and Blair (Amanda); and his close friend Patricia Brown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Broughton's Funeral Home (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A 1K0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Patrick's Parish (85 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A1K0).
