It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Selby Wood Hewlett of Buchans Junction, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laudric Hewlett and Dorothy Hewlett; his parents-in-law, Robert and Mabel Moss; his brother Esau; and his brothers-in-law, Adolphus Morey and Norman Wellman.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his sons, Dwayne (Danika) and Dean (Danielle); his granddaughter Emma; his sisters, Inez Wellman, Vera Morey and Daphne Hewlett; and his sister-in-law June Hewlett.
