He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hennessey and Bessie Hennessey; his siblings, Doug and Jean Stone; and his daughter Deanne.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Barry (Salve), Glenn and Brent (Dawn); his granddaughters, Samantha (Jon), Jessica (Kenny) and Emily (David); his sisters, Flo Trickett and Margie Pike (Earle); and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Mason and Oaklynn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
