She was predeceased by : her parents, John Henry Butler and Amelia Caroline Hollett; her husband Merrill Legge; her sons, Frazer and Calvin; and her sister Lillian.

She is survived by : her children, Marion Legge, Elsie (Mark), Bruce (Sasha) of Ottawa and Arlene Kilfoy; her grandchildren, Sandra Kilfoy, Luke Kilfoy, Brittani Jackman, Ashley Jackman and Andrea Richard; and her close friends, Velma, Martin Power, Violet Legge, Maude Kenway (Geoff), Joan Legge, Gordon Legge Jr., Ella Jackson (Carl), Tracy Greene, Barbara Brake, Sarah Legge, Tara Smith, Bernadette Mullett, Eunice, Trudy Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Barter.
