With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexander John Edwards of Burin, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edwards and Dorothy Edwards; and his siblings, Rosella Brennan, Rupert and Anthony Edwards.

He is survived by: his children, Bradley Edwards (Anne), Alexander Edwards, Eileen McCabe, Bonnie Richardson (Anthony) and Billie-Jo Edwards (Robert Davies); his grandchildren, Michael, Ethan, Daniel, Clarissa, Eric, Emmerson and Hunter; and his siblings, Dorothy, Eileen, Patrick, Andre and Joe.

In Alex's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
