He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Dimmer; his parents, James Dimmer and Bernadette Dimmer; his parents-in-law, James and Bride Mallay; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Mallay and Jeanette Mallay.
He is survived by: his wife Rosarri; his son-in-law Jason; his daughter Jenna Dimmer (Jason Withers) of Marystown; his grandchildren, Eva, Joel and Rory Withers; his siblings, Judy Power (Philip) of Labrador City, Cathy Dimmer (Jeff Coady), Jimmy Dimmer (Terri) of Fox Cove and Derrick Dimmer (Marcella) of New York; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Ann Cleal (Al) of Marystown, Mary Mallay of Spanish Room, Leon Mallay of St. John's and Terry Mallay (Audrey) of Marystown; and his close friends, Rodney and Jennifer Power.
