He was predeceased by : his parents, Caleb and Sarah; his parents-in-law, Mark and Alma Bolt; his siblings, Viola, Irene, Ray and Eldridge; and his siblings-in-law, Alice and Jim.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn; his children, Sharon, Glenn (Juanita), Gail (Todd), Denise and Patsy (Michael); his siblings, Leslie, Eric (Jocelyn), Florence (Brendan) and Harvey (Pauline); and his in-laws, Keith (Doreen), Murray (Glenda) and Linda. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in the memory of Doug to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
