He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Myles; his parents, John Tom and Emily Jane Myles; his sister Florence Budgen; his brothers-in-law, Clifford Mitchell, Reg Budgen and Baxter Rose; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Edna Hawse.
He is survived by: his sisters, Esther Mitchell of Lewin's Cove and Elsie Rose; his siblings-in-law, Bertha Hawse, Mae Hawse, Willie, Henry and Melvin Hawse; and his close friend Viola Shepherd.
