He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hooper and Eliza Hooper; his siblings, George, Jimmy, Randell, Hector, Calvin, Mondella, Daphne and Tracey; his parents-in-law, Jane and Donald Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Marie, Jessica, Tom, Len, Owen and Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughter Peggy (Norbert) of Airdrie, AB; his grandchildren, Charlie and Luke; his siblings, Gladys (Wylie), Sylvia (Jim), Sarah (Darren), Viola (Brian), Dorothy, Richard, Shawn (Darlene), Tony (Anna) and Wylie; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde (Sheila), William (Yvonne), Frances, Joan (Phil), Susan, Verna (Leo) and Jeananne (Clyde).
