She was predeceased by: her parents, George Comby and Annie Comby; her husband Rodney Butler; her sister-in-law Lorraine Butler (Polly); her in-laws, Alice and Bertram Butler; her nephew Bert Butler; her uncles, Alphonses Drake and Patrick Druken; and her aunt Susie Drake.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Butler; her granddaughter Arielle; her significant other Gordie Mayo; her partner's children, Megan and Owen; her brother Paul Comby (Tina); her aunts and uncles, Marg (Jim), Edward (Joy), Edith, Ches, Dave, Pauline (Bob) and Maureen; her siblings-in-law, Mary, Hattie (Harvey), Earlene, Sandra (Len), Ina (Carl), Sharon (Danny), Cindi (Jerry), Morg, Carl (Cynthia), Claude (Michelle) and Aus (Diana); her sibling's children, Morgan (Lesley) and April (Craig); Melanie. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home - Burin (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Serenity Chapel (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). The inurnment will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Zion United Cemetery.
