She was predeceased by: her daughter Dawn; her husband Patrick Power; her parents, James and Agnes; her grandparents-in-law, Peter and Katie Power; her brothers, Donald Grant and Aloysius Grant; and her brother-in-law Ondre Power (Elizabeth).
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Power of St. John's, NL, Sonya Fewer (Kent) of Sioux Lookout, ON and Grant Power (Jennifer) of Sioux Lookout, ON; her grandchildren, Sara Peddle, Kaden Fewer, McKenna Fewer, Lucas Power and Jacob Power; and her sisters, Nellie Manor (Joe), Martha Roberts and Marie Grant (Harry Clarke).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Home (193 Main St, Burin, NL AOE 1E0 AOE1E0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Sacred Heart RC Cemetery - Fox Cove.
In Nora's memory donations may be made to the Fox Cove-Mortier Community Center or flowers gratefully accepted.
