He was predeceased by: his wife Madonna; his parents, Isaac and Rita; his siblings, Pete, Ike and Linda; and his sister-in-law Anne.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Loder, Colin Slaney (Brittany), Haleigh Slaney (Richard Nolan) and Isaac Loder; his grandchildren, Nadia, Katarina Loder, Rory and Oliver Nolan; his siblings, Richard, Andre (Jean), Walter (Agnes), Adrian (Pat) and Cyril (Jackie); and his siblings-in-law, Jean and Mike Holmes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home - Burin (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Serenity Chapel (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronald's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
