She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fowler and Florence Fowler; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Flora Manning; her sister Madeline; her brother-in-law Patrick Drake; her brother James; her sister-in-law Catherine Fowler; her husband John Manning; her in-laws, Mabel Moulton, Karen Cleal, Jack Walsh and Dale Tobin; and her uncle Walton Manning.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Manning; her son-in-law Michael Schwinghamer; her son Jonathan Manning; her sibling's children, Glenda Beck (Henry) of St. Lawrence, Jim Drake (Donna) of Burin, Tanya Drake of Victoria, Lynn Stacey (Hubert) of St. Lawrence, Judy Byrne (Terry) of Guelph, Wade Drake (Maxine) of Wabush, Jim Fowler of Bobcaygeon, Bill Drake (Marie-Luce) of St. Pierre, Cyril Drake (Vicky) of Bay Bulls and Noel Drake of Grand Prairie; her in-laws, Bonnie Tobin (Brian Farrell) of Epworth, Gerald Moulton of Epworth, Pauline Beazley (Dave) of Epworth, Joe Manning (Paula) of St. Phillips, Lillian Walsh of St. Lawrence and Fred Cleal of Marystown; her aunt Barbara Manning of Epworth; her cousins, Alison Manning (Jeremy Peddle) of Burin and Erin Manning (Steve Wheeler) of St. John's; and her close friends, Brenda Gleason, Carmel Healy, Sadie Kelly, Jean Slaney, Doreen Cluett, Rosalie Dupre, Brenda Bennett and Marion Antle. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart RC Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon's memory may be made to Daffodil Place, Ronald McDonald House, Grace Sparkes House, and the Burin Peninsula SPCA.
