He was loved and cherished by many people including : his significant other Yvonne Coady; his daughter Megan Smith (Corey Bennett); his grandsons, Parker and Nathan; his mother Hazel Smith; his siblings, Dale Pike (Keith), Donna Brushett (George), Gerry Smith (Viola), Todd Smith (Gail) and Wayne Smith (Marlene); his mother-in-law Isabella Coady; his siblings-in-law, Mary Thistle (George), Ivy Coady, John Coady (Rowena), Eugene Coady (Almeta), Allan Coady (Effie), Wally Coady (Debbie), Gordon Coady (Sherry), Brian Coady (Marjorie), Dennis Coady (Ashley) and Robbie Coady; his father Lloyd Smith; and his siblings, Paul and Georgina.

In Tom's memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
